Brenda makes an effort to eat beans everyday … Why? Beans fill her up because they add fiber to her diet. Beans are low fat, low calorie and high protein. To provide additional health benefits, Brenda adds turmeric to her navy bean recipe. Turmeric is one of nature’s most effective spices! Brenda starts with Goya Navy Beans 16 Ounces (Pack of 3), and adds olive oil and minced garlic to boiling water. She boils the navy beans for about 1.5 hours. When the navy beans are almost done, she sprinkles McCormick Turmeric Ground and stirs it in.
