Bank tellers are losing their jobs due to the iPhone and ATM machines. We have noticed that Bank of America has closed drive-thru lanes
at their banks and laid off bank tellers. Bank of America says it’s due to changing consumer behavior, but no one can deny that it saves millions of dollars for Bank of America! When you order a product from Amazon, such as The Everything STEM Handbook: Help Your Child Learn and Succeed in the Fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (Everything®)
or STEAM Kids: 50+ Science / Technology / Engineering / Art / Math Hands-On Projects for Kids
, robots are locating your product in an Amazon warehouse.
It is becoming more and more important for our children to learn about STEM opportunities. What is STEM? It means Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Science and mathematics can be challenging subjects, but we if we expose our children to the career opportunities available to “geeks,” it may encourage them to buckle down and do the hard work!
