This gritty neighborhood is just off the corner of New York Avenue and North Capitol Street. On the corner is a well-known liquor store that has been the source of trouble for decades. My guess is that within the next 2 – 3 years, this liquor store will be replaced by a corner cafe and outdoor seating!
