Sauteed Sweet Potatoes

Sweet potatoes are loaded with vitamins (A, C, D) and nutrients (magnesium, potassium), as well as anti-cancer antioxidants (betacarotene). Baking sweet potatoes takes at least 45 minutes. For a quicker recipe, saute’ sweet potato slices in a saucepan!

  1. Cut raw sweet potato into slices
  2. Add a pat of butter and a 2 tablespoon of honey to a sauce pan on low heat
  3. After butter melts, add sweet potato slices to saucepan
  4. Saute each side for 5 minutes each
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon on the each slice
